Abby from The Last of Us Part 2 Is Immune Too!

In The Last Of Us part 2, the character Abby is also immune to the zombie epidemic virus.

Do you remember the character of David in the first game of The Last Of Us? You know, that guy who's obsessed with Ellie. A scene between Ellie and David in the first game reveals that Abby in the second game is also immune.

In the first game, Ellie bites David. Ellie screams "I'm infected" just as she is about to be killed by David with a butcher knife. Then Ellie points to the place where her bite was, namely her arm, and says, "So are you (you're infected). From this scene, we understand that Ellie's bite also spreads the virus. This gives us a clue in the second game. (In the video below)

A fight breaks out at the theater between Abby and Ellie. Here we control the character of Abby and we have to beat Ellie well to pass this episode. Otherwise, we cannot pass the section. While beating Ellie, as an animation, Ellie bites Abby on the arm. Although this is an animation, the game cannot be continued without Ellie biting Abby's arm. But days have passed since this fight (Abby is imprisoned and Ellie returns home), we still see Abby in her human form at the end of the game. This proves Abby is immune to the virus.

Since the play has a dramatic scenario, it is not unreasonable for Jerry, Abby's doctor father, to kill Ellie and make an antidote instead of his own daughter. Of course, we don't know whether Abby knew she was immune to the virus  (probably doesn't). As a result, it is a fact that the third part of the game will be published. Here we will understand it all.

Bonus: I think Ellie and Abby will become close friends (maybe love ones) in the 3rd game. Ellie might even kill Tommy for Abby.

  1. Nope, you're wrong. Ellie can't infect anyone through saliva, she was only telling David that to scare him. If she was contagious, both her ex-girlfriend Cat and Dina in Part II would have become infected when kissing her, yet both are fine as of the end of Part II. So there's nothing in the game to prove Abby is immune.

As for Ellie becoming friends/lovers with Abby and killing Tommy for her . . . LOL not happening. There's no reason to continue the Ellie/Abby story arc at all because both found out that revenge doesn't make you feel any better and have moved on with their lives.
